An introduction to Sports fencing (Olympic sport) for beginners, no experience necessary. Discover fencing through games and exercise and learn the foundation of fencing. We begin with safety and building body coordination with muscle strengthening all while having fun. The class covers fencing rules, proper fencing form, fencing etiquette, simple bladework, fencing distance, and introduces bouting. Class taught by The Fencing Center accredited coaches. Wear athletic clothing and footwear (Full legged exercise pants, tennis shoes with laces), bring water bottle. All fencing equipment is provided.
